Joseph McMillan, of Hancock County for $900. 40 acres off of the south side of
the south east quarter of Section No 24 in twp 3 N-8 W.

Signed sealed and delivered in the presence of Dennis Smith, Jp.
William signed his name Wm. S. Newman and Rebecca made her mark.

Wilson Pryer and Sophronia Ellen Pryer, his wife of Hancock Do. to
William Newman of Hancock County for $500 - 40 acres off of the south side of
the south east quarter of Section No. 24 in Twp 3-8.

Signed Sealed and Delivered in the presence of Jno. J. Smith deed Book 84, page 266.

John A. Chestnut and John F. Hart, assignees of David Wigle in
Bankruptcy to William Newman of St. Albans in the county of Hancock on 19 Feb 1868 an
auction was held at the Post Office in West Point, Illinois.

William Newman bid at that sale for the west part of the south part of the
southwest quarter of Section 19 in Twp 3-8 conaining 10 acres a total of
$67.50.
